It’s all about presentation and the box that the doll is supposed to be presented in was tore up and didn’t open the way it was presented as it would. It does let open like a big door, but rather at the top like a deck of cards. The box was also beat up, marked on, and had tape all over it in an unprofessional manner. The doll’s onesie has a tear in it. I can either try to return it and hope to get a replacement in time for Christmas, or repair the onesie myself (which I can, but shouldn’t have to), and gift the doll in the box as-is and hope that doesn’t bring down the sparkle in my daughter’s eyes or try to find a different way to wrap the doll and still make it as magical as I had hoped.It is so real looking and so beautiful! The doll came quick. The only bad thing I have to say is that her hair was a mess when she came. I was able to wet down the hair and re style it with curlers and braids. But still a 5 star. Reborns are dolls painted and assembled by an individual artist. They are one of a kind and aren't available in stores. This is a doll designed in a factory that has some realistic qualities.This doll is advertised as being huggable, with a cloth body. In reality, the doll is hollow vinyl. The description states that the doll is silicone. She is vinyl. A silicone doll costs hundreds and often thousands of dollars.She is not a collector's item at all. But she does come with nice accessories and can wear newborn real baby clothing. Her hair is a wig and easy to care for.She does have a vagina, so if that bothers you, she's not for you.I'd recommend her as a decent little toy. But nothing more. I wouldn't pay the current price, but more like $20.
